Recycling is possible for certain refrigerants, providing the products have been correctly sorted during collection. We are able to organise recycling using the latest technologies and processes.

The decision on the recyclability of the product in question can be taken following our detailed analysis. If recycling is not possible, the material will be disposed of.

As a result of new legislation, many systems in Austria need to be upgraded. We offer a complete disposal system for the contaminated refrigerant collected during the process.

The waste disposal law dictates an obligation to provide proof when disposing of hazardous waste. This means that the acceptance of hazard waste must be proven using the forms specified by the authorities. For this reason, we can only accept used refrigerant with the legal transfer document.

Flammable refrigerant such as R290, R600a, R1270 or ammonia cannot be taken back. AGATEX is a registered collector and processor for waste compliant with the code SN 55205.

Selecting the right refrigeration oils in-line with the application requirements is decisive for trouble-free operation of cooling systems. Special high purity refrigerant and system-compatible refrigeration oils are needed for lubrication and for the compressors used in cooling system circuits. Together, the refrigerant and refrigeration oil have to meet the requirements of the air conditioning system and compressor manufacturers, taking into consideration the operating parameters of the cooling system.
